Part of the next round of cuts the Council plans to make include asking community organisations to run seven of its libraries. This would save just over £1million in the next four years. One of these libraries is West Ealing Library in Melbourne Avenue. If no organisation/s come forward the library will close.

As part of the public consultation about this, the Council is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 27th March 4.30-6.30pm at 99 Broadway – the old Bensons for Beds shop on the corner with St James Avenue.
